While listening to a podcast about women erased from art history, I felt the need to give voice and presence back to those who were left unseen. At the heart of this work, I placed three unveiled, affirmed, pregnant figures: the Virgin, the Witch, and the Indigenous Woman.

Art has long neglected to portray pregnant women, as if their creative power had to remain hidden. Here, they reemerge standing, sacred, carried by their round bellies like worlds in becoming. They embody the divinity of the feminine, the force that gives life and endures through time.

Through this painting, I resurrect these invisible presences to restore their centrality, their power, and their sacred character within human existence.
