“The truth” is a collage about the understanding at the very source of my coming into the world, clear answers, a surge of truth giving a voice to the one who never had the chance to make his truth known. He signed Emma and Henning, a strong and almost mystical act considering the reading, 25 years later, and the understanding of what my father left me as his only words and answers to the truth I was seeking.
These letters also revealed a myth I know well: that of my birth — the will of two individuals playing God, who made of me an idea of creation, an ultimate project. Emma Rodman / Emma Goldman, an anarchist admired by my father, seen as an idol.
